Presented by Melanie DiLoreto, Administrative Assessment Fellow & Maria Cristina Leite, Program Review and Accreditation Coordinator, in the College of Professional Studies at the University of West Florida

This presentation provides an in-depth review of issues impacting the development of a culture of assessment at UWF and its journey to eliminate the fear of accountability even as the pressure for accountability has increased. Practical knowledge of assessment strategies for SACS and NCATE/CAEP requirements are presented. A wide variety of useful documents, charts, and templates are discussed, including: curriculum maps, rubrics, syllabi, transition points, comprehensive reports (related to demographics, GPA, and admissions data), the candidates' performance report, and the creation of templates according to required annual reports (NCATE Part C, PEDS, Title II, and eIPEP).
