This film was made completely by mistake.

While heading to a freelance commercial assignment from Spokane, WA., to Portland OR., I dove hastily into a new lav mic and recorder I never used.

As the plane started to become full I had to stand to let a fellow passenger to her seat. I clipped the Sennheiser MKE-2-PC between the seats in front of me and tucked the new ZOOM recorder into the seat pocket.

A new IPhone 5s was also on hand and for whatever reason I shot everything on that flight.

Two weeks later while editing I noticed a 2 hour long audio clip. I was about to delete it but instead I skimmed the clip.

I was blown away by the conversation of the couple sitting in front of me.

If I knew I was recording this intimate conversation I would have ceased recording.

I looked at my IPhone 5s footage and decided to piece this short film together. I added some additional audio that was not recorded on the plane to the film.

The couples identity is never revealed in the film.
