This is a moodboard based on A full 3D stereoscopic 90 min feature in development.
We had been developing this animated feature project and then a brief came up for the BBC What if... competition to deliver an interpretation of the future without speech, text or dialogue in 50 seconds or under.
Although the Roze feature is a maya/CGI pipeline, in development the first moving preview of this world we are creating is this animatic moodboard. It's basically a coloured moving storyboard compared to the final artistic vision. However we decided to show our development piece to get some feedback. The exercise was positive, with over 800 entries from all of the world our animatic was shortlisted and aired on BBC 1, BBC 2, BBC News and BBC World News in March 2013: bbc.co.uk/news/technology-21967363
1920 x 1080 HD & Stereoscopic versions of this animatic available on request.
