from March 3, 2012 concert @ Machine Project. movement I from performance #1 of 2
this is a site-specific piece, dealing uniquely with the resulting acoustical and spatial properties of the Machine Project gallery and the imposed structure of the Storefront Plaza installation by Nate Page (natepage.com). This music experiments with instrument pairs, co-dependent musical relationships, sound potentiality, location, silence, and conduction. An ensemble of fourteen musicians were divided in half by the Machine storefront window, unable to hear the opposing group.
