It has been WAY too long since I have made a video, and even LONGER since I have ventured down to the City of Lights! Seven years to be exact! And so seven is the lucky number! Mr. C and I finally got to take a mini-weekend get-a-way and spend some time in Las Vegas, Nevada. What made this trip even sweeter, was seeing some very good friends from different eras of my life. Among them were some of our very good classmates, Karen (and her husband Joe), Aaron (and his sweet girlfriend), and Dong. I also got reunited with my childhood friend, Cindy, whom I have not seen in TEN years! I have to say, she looks exactly the same, and is still sweet as ever!
Mr. C and I were fortunate enough to stay at the Aria hotel and caught two shows: Zarkana, and Penn & Teller. What was more awesome was hearing Teller speak to us as he personally took our group photo with us as well as autographed my show ticket! Starstruck was probably an understatement, but we sure had a blast! It was certainly amazing to see how much the city has changed in seven year's time. It is definitely beautiful with so much to see, and so much to eat. On our last day, we were able to go up the Paris tower which is half the height and size of the original. That is the closest I have ever been to paris. If only I went up that tower twice, then maybe I could have achieved my goal of going up the real deal! hehe. Just kidding. One day, I will see the real thing! All in all, this trip was full of excitement and great memories. Here is my short documentary video to capture the moment and sights. Viva Las Vegas! We will definitely be back again... hopefully sooner than later this time!
