Northbound Smokehouse Brew Pub is expanding their fermentation capacity. The new tanks were delivered and placed into the brew house over 3 days in March, 2013. The source was shot in time lapse and condensed in the edit suite.
The day the tanks arrived at the brew pub, Minneapolis was blanketed with about 6 inches of new snow, here seen melting away as the tanks warm. Also prominent in the clip is the bright sunshine streaming through the south-facing windows open to S. 38th Street. The balance of snow and sunlight as well as cold and warmth reflects the city where this beer is brewed, served and consumed. Minneapolis is also reflected in the fermentation tanks literally. The head and tails lights of passing traffic can be seen on the surfaces of the tanks along with blurred images of pedestrians.
