......Vid-No-1:.....Last Sunday I went up to one of my favorite areas to hike and photograph along the Angeles-Crest-Highway at Vincent-Gap, at the base of Mt. Baden-Powell, named after the founder of the boy scouts. This view is from the parking lot at 6,593-ft elevation, looking kinda East towards Mt. Baldy. In fact, this was the view I used for the background of the hummingbird mural I painted onto a water-tank a couple of years ago...

...The temperature stayed around 42-degrees, which is comfortable if dressed for it...but the wind was a steady 35 MPH coming out of the South, and the clouds were racing across the sky, so it made for dramatic settings for Time-Lapse. But the wind tried to rip any exposed skin off and away, and it was blowing so hard on the camera and tripod I actually had to weigh down the tripod with two 1-gal containers of anti-freeze I had with me.....which is about 18-pounds..just to keep the tripod from moving or blowing over!...

...The results were well worth the hazards, so I am putting up several sequences I shot that afternoon, and will eventually put them together and add some music for a change....But for now...just check out the individual shots.....( I took 9 sequences that day, each sequence being 400 images long....using a Canon EOS T2i 550D body with the 18-55mm lens, as well as a wide-angle lens attachment, and also the Sigma 4.5mm Spherical Fisheye I borrowed, just before returning it to it's owner. The sequences were shot at ISO 200, Highest-Quality setting ( 5184 x 3456 )....ranging from 1/200th to 1/500th at f8.0 depending on the lighting conditions, which deteriorated over the afternoon...In fact, only 5 minutes after I packed up and got back in the car..it started to sprinkle rain/sleet/snow...so my timing was perfect!...)...

...Also...this was shot at a 1-second interval on the timer...so 1-second of this vid is equal to 30-seconds of actual real time......and even tho the prevailing winds were blowing from the South...at my ground-level location the wind was blowing From the North....so watch the tan stick in the left foreground moving to the right!
