The Lady Bass Anglers Association Pro Tour kicked off the 2013 tour off yesterday on the waters of Neely Henry Lake in Gadsden, Alabama. Some of the top women pros were on-hand to for this first tournament stop of the year. 2012 LBAA Angler of the Year, Kim Bain-Moore, 2012 LBAA Classic Champion, Cheryl Bowden, and perennial favorite, Pam Martin-Wells were all in the field for the initial tournament.

After some of the toughest conditions in past memory for pre-fishing, the morning of Day 1 while cold at the start brought warmer temperatures in the afternoon. After 10 days of rain, snow and extreme wind, a sunny, warmer day was just what the anglers hoped would get the fish biting as daily practice rounds had brought dismal weights.
