Two sculptures created by Susan Clinard in memory of the children and teachers who died at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown CT.
The music is "Passage" by William Ackerman
Video shot and edited by R. John Williams
Regarding the sculpture, Susan Clinard writes: "Weeks after the unspeakable horror that visited Sandyhook elementary school I could not let this settle in me without moving my hands. Without the words to express my thoughts to the world I choose to just make what I felt had a healing quality to it. I call the first sculpture 'Twenty,' after the 20 children who were killed. I rendered the small figures with no detail in mind but I had all of the children's names written down by my side. Their journey continues...our journey continues...and as my husband and I tried to explain to our 3 1/2 yr old about what happens to us after we die..we said we are a big ball of love and we enter the hearts and the beauty of this world. The love never dies."
