Started by Jim’s father, Vernon Taylor, Sr., in the late 1940s, Wytana Livestock Company operated expansive cattle ranches throughout Central and Western Montana. Most notable were the Horse Ranch near Lewistown, the Pronghorn Ranch near Grass Range, the VT Ranch in Manhattan and the Lazy J Ranch. Swan represented the Taylors in the sale of the 25,000-acre Horse Ranch in December 2011.
