after trying 10+ different video codecs and experimenting with frame rates, resolutions, bit depths, etc., I cannot seem to find a formula that shows this video in sufficient quality. My only thoughts are that it has to do with the way Vimeo formats it for display. I will have to do further research on this issue.

In the meantime, I will continue to keep this video posted for its content and creative merit, and hope that those who view it will be able to look past its VHS clarity.

...although, I had finished the book "House of Leaves" several months earlier it was still fresh in my mind when we were assigned this project.

Completed in roughly 1-2 weeks: including music, graphics, video, animation, editing, and final render.

I only include "final render" as a part of the process because at the time, we were making these projects on old Mac Pro G5's and rendering these sequences took me (or the computer, rather) roughly 3-12 hours, depending on the depth of the animations, lighting, etc...
