This is a small code snippet called reddit.py (gist.github.com/rberenguel/5130837) that lets me open reddit from within Acme. It's a simple python command line utility that parses the JSON api from Reddit and displays it in a neat way for using inside Acme.

Of course, this is a simple, stupid 30 minutes version. It could easily be a full-blown reddit reader. How?

* Instead of showing data in the +Errors window, get it its own window on start
* Work as a daemon, polling Reddit every X seconds (300?) and updating the view of the window (easy in Plan9/acme)
* Add authentication and clickable elements (a main button for the script and a way to process the selected data to interact with it). Writing this for Acme is almost like writing a web application, minus the web.
