I made this axe similar to what Lara have in the latest Tomb Raider game. I used 6 hours overall for this. I also made low-poly version wich I will use in my UDK scene. Normal and ao maps baked with Xnormal.
Base model in 3ds max, hi-poly sculpting in ZBrush, hand painted textures in Photoshop, rendering in ZBrush, compositing and color correction in After Effects with Magic Bullet Looks, RSMB and Video Copilot optical flares.
