"MY LIFE: The Movie" is a short film I wrote, filmed and edited while out at film school in L.A. The story is loosely based on my own life, even down to the dialogue coming straight from my phone text inbox, between my on again/off again girlfriend (now my wife).
When I write a movie know going into it that someone, somewhere could relate any of my stories to something else, because there is nothing original left in the world. However I know that HOW the story is told, there can still be originality. And with that mindset, I told a story everyone has heard, but I told it in a way no one has ever seen. And with only a limit of 5 mniutes, I think I did a pretty good job.
The longshot halfway in the film is in fact one shot. From Brian sitting at the table to Brian sitting at the desk. Pretty proud of that one.
