It is a world without language. A world where one is raised to respect the rules. Only one Boy (Davíð Laufdal Arnarsson) questions the verity of what he has been taught, and he must decide whether to continue living in a society of fear or choose his own destiny.
Shot in Iceland, Days of Gray is a silent film from first-time director Ani Simon-Kennedy with an original musical score by Hjaltalin, a seven-piece orchestral Icelandic band. At every film festival since its premiere, Days of Gray has been screened as a special ciné-concert with Hjaltalin performing the score live.
