This is Greta, a 6-year old German Shepherd Dog who came into Berkeley Animal Care Services in October, 2012, as a stray. Greta is perfect in every way. She's athletic, friendly, beautiful, loving and playful.

The only thing that slowed Greta down was her missing foot, which we found out she lost very early in her life. Because she has a full and healthy leg, Greta was an ideal candidate for a prosthetic foot. And thanks to the generosity of some amazing donors, Holistic Veterinary Care in Piedmont worked with Greta to fit her with a prosthetic foot!

Now, all she needs is a forever home to call her own!

Watch Greta take her first steps on her new foot!

Now she moves like a seasoned pro. Check her out!
