Change is most keenly felt in Singapore, as seen in the rapidly changing environment around us. In our spaces, buildings, nature, and its people.
Seeing how our society is a result-orientated, materialism-driven one, we are focused on the outcome of change and it only becomes most visible to us when the change is sudden. I would like to bring a meditative look into change to remind Singaporeans that our national identity is not a structure that is easy to break, rather one that is built upon foundations, and these foundations are around us, unseen but existing within stable structures, beyond measure and beyond doubt — and they might be the answer to rediscovering our identity.
