This piece was created to spread awareness about the harm that pesticides are causing each and every one of us. Hopefully this will inspire some to think about the foods we are eating and the people who are being exposed to harmful chemicals so that we have cheaper and easier ways of getting those foods.

Videos created by undergraduate students in the spring 2013 course DOCST 332S "Farmworkers in North Carolina: Roots of Poverty, Roots of Change," in collaboration with Student Action with Farmworkers (saf-unite.org). National Farmworker Awareness Week (NFAW) is a week of action for students and community members to raise awareness about farmworker issues on our campuses and in our communities. In 2013 we celebrate the 14th Annual National Farmworker Awareness Week to raise awareness about farmworker conditions and to honor their important contributions to us every day!
