This bold documentary, directed by reformed criminal and recovering heroin addict, Garry
Fraser, takes us to the heart of the poor, marginalised community he grew up in, Muirhouse
in Edinburgh- the same town that inspired ‘Trainspotting’. As he makes changes
in his own life, he seeks to understand how it could have gone so wrong for him
and so many people around him. He tells his story, his way. In doing so he reveals
the harsh realities faced by many people growing up in poor communities.
