Don’t be Paul – respond to his ministry!
I. Thankful for our Apostle (vv.14-21 )
We’re amazed at the truth of the Gospel ministered to us
II. Pleased to be of Service (vv. 22-29)
We’re excited to bless in the fullness of Christ’s blessing
III. Striving together in Prayer (vv. 30-33)
We’re motivated by our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of the Spirit
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. (Colossians 1:15–16)
Christ the center… not me
· How did Paul see himself in the ministry of the Gospel? What was his task?
· Do you see yourself as acceptable and sanctified? Why or why not?
· Why do we desire to bless each other? What are tangible ways we can?
· What was Paul’s main appeal to the Romans (v.30)? What was the motivation?
