This is an interactive audiovisual installation that reacts to movement with light and sound effects. It is designed by five communication students at the Kolding School of Design as part of a physical interaction assignment. As an outdoor installation it is meant to be placed in passive zones of the inner city like passages or town squares where people normally just pass through without taking any action. Each element is sensitive to physical approach and responds to motion with individual colored lights and sounds. The purpose of the installation is to enlighten town after dark by encouraging people to engage in spontaneous play and fill empty streets with new energy.
