When I was 15, I was one of 10 contestants throughout the UK to win Turner Classic Movie's television channel's 'Movies & Memories' competition.
The prize being a chance to talk for half a minute on the channel about my chosen movie and the special memory to which I connected it. My film - Sam Peckinpah's 1973 masterpiece 'Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid'. I was too young to have seen it, but no one seemed to mind. Filming took place in the lobby of the BFI Southbank, it was the first time I had seen a track & dolly in my life!
