‘A New Song’ is a powerful twenty minute drama about forgiveness and the value of whanau.
Matu is auditioning at a Restaurant - with close family friend Laura along for support.
But, Matu discovers his Brother Piripi working in the restaurant. Piripi ran away from home 16 years earlier after a terrible accident within the family.
After years apart Matu and Piripi avoid the pain of confronting the situation. In an attempt to reunite the Brothers, Laura risks losing her friendship and jeopardises the reunion of the broken whanau.
To bring Matu & Piripi together will require something greater than the bond of brothers.
