Seven Randolph-Macon students learned about the Holocaust and Jewish Culture by traveling through Germany and Austria during January term in 2013. Led by German Professor Joseph Moser, students visited historic sites and learned about the Berlin Wall, experienced authentic German food and culture, and even practiced speaking in German.
In this video, students visit the historic site of the Wannsee Conference and the former Anhalter and Grunewald train stations. They learned how the Nazi Party planned the deportation of the Jewish population and the conditions in which those captured were transported. The original footage for this video was provided by R-MC students. This is part three of a six-part video series that will launch about this course.
