LivingColors is an innovative lighting product from Philips. Its stunning design, simple functionality and amazing light effect impress everyone. For this China launch campaign we had to go beyond simply creating awareness, we had to inspire people how to use this product in their house and create word-of-mouth around the topic that “light can color your life”.
We created an interactive online mini-drama, in which the light and the trendy little remote control play the key role. Throughout the story the consumer has to use the remote to change the color and thereby the outcome of the situation.
A total of 3.5 million consumers watched and interacted with the film, which was ranked by consumers with 5 stars in toudou.com, the Chine version of Youtube. The film helped to drive around 8 million people to the website where they learned more about the product and got valuable tips on interior design and setting the mood at home with light.
