In the heart of Asheville, North Carolina there is a place where new homeowners worked hard to create a safe and vibrant place for their families. This thriving community isn’t just any neighborhood. This is Carney Place.
Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity approached us to create a video to debut at their event featuring renowned architect and author Sarah Susanka. Sarah is the author of one of the best-selling architecture books of all time "The Not So Big House." She was speaking to the notion of creating Not So Big Communities where people would live and work in safe, interconnected and walkable neighborhoods. Habitat is creating just those types of communities in the heart of Asheville, North Carolina.
We suggested focusing on Carney Place, a newly completed Habitat neighborhood in West Asheville. We tied together Habitat's values with Sarah's ideas for optimal living while creating awareness for Habitat's new "Building A Way Home" campaign.
