BBC Radio 2 documentary made by Tom Robinson in 1999 about his friend and mentor Alexis Korner. Tom Writes: "Alexis was a gifted, charming, and sometimes troubled man who influened many - but whose own life and work were shot through with paradoxes. How do you pack a whole lifetime into a fifty minute radio programme? You can't. But hopefully this programme will serve as a short to Alexis and his work. Nearly 30 years after his tragically early death, he's still remembered widely with love, warmth and gratitude."
Pete Townshend once said: "Alexis Korner has had a great influence on the British Blues Scene. If only for helping bring the Rolling Stones together, Alexis should becarried round London on a sedan chair for the rest of his life."
