One night in march 2013 a coronal emission hit the earth and caused northern lights visible as far south as our latitude of 59N.
I'd set up the camera by midnight and recorded 15 second exposures until about 3am.
The last thirty minutes was lost to heavy frost encrusting the camera and lens but the aurora was over by then anyway..
I decided to keep the cloudy part as it cleared to give a rather nice sky.
620 raw stills were processed in Capture One before importing into Final Cut.
Camel's Epitaph fitted perfectly to the time, if you don't like the music turn it down.
