Patrycja and Eryc don't dare tell anyone beyond a close circle of friends that they're Jewish for fear of reprisals. Poland used to be a hub of Jewish culture, but the Holocaust devastated the community and it never recovered. Though the young couple rarely goes to the synagogue, they feel Jewish at heart. They say there is no place for them in Poland and they want to move to Israel.
