This is the world famous silo 468 light art piece in helsinki, finland, by lighting design collective. It has been recently updated with the poet lighting control system by skandal technologies.
The system automatically generates beautiful light patterns that never repeat.
Light movements are linked to wind speeds and temperature in real-time. The lights also follow seasons, weather and time responding to triggers such as “snow” or “rain”.
The poet server is remote managed allowing for system monitoring and remote maintenance.
New digital content can be created, previewed and uploaded remotely. The system is designed for 24/7 permanent installations and is available now.
