Last week I was given the pleasure of working with some of the finest musicians in East Tennessee as they performed at Lindsay and Jonathan’s Wedding Ceremony. I often get asked what does the music that is captured during the ceremony going to sound like on my DVD ? This an example of how we record music on your final DVD.
F.A.Q. Microphones (Vows) and Music
One of the most common questions I receive is: “How many microphones do you use / who wears them and how do you record the live music during the ceremony ?
Both the Groom and the Officiant(s) of the ceremony wear a wireless microphone. The groom wears a wireless microphone with what is called an Omni-Direction (meaning all around) pickup pattern that captures sound equally from all directions allowing for the Bride’s vows to be picked up just as if she was wearing a microphone too.

Other wireless or wired microphones are used in the recording of other audio elements of your wedding so that we can recreate the feeling for you as if you were sitting in the audience watching and listening to the event as it happened.
All final audio is mixed in Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound for your DVD or Blu-Ray for incredible life like sound reproduction.
