Seven Randolph-Macon students learned about the Holocaust and Jewish Culture by traveling through Germany, Hungary and Austria during January term in 2013. Led by German Professor Joseph Moser, students visited historic sites, experienced authentic German food and culture, and even practiced speaking in German.
In this video, students toured Budapest to visit the Garden of Memory and the Danube River Shoe Memorial, a solemn remembrance of the persecution Jews faced during the Holocaust. The original footage for this video was provided by R-MC students. This is part four of a six-part video series that will launch about this course.
