This is a show about eruptions and emotions, volcanoes and the Righteous Brothers, tension and release. It is the story of one airline pilot’s personal eruption in April 2010 as he waits, grounded by the ash cloud of Eyjafjallajökull. Volcano uses lo-fi props to recreate gigantic events, and gigantic events to illuminate small lives. Combining trashy pop culture with global events this is a funny and deadly serious look at letting go.
