We were fortunate to be one of the first Burning Man CORE groups in 2011 with our "laptop" man in an orchard of 48 trees...representing the orchards that gave way to the computer industry of Silicon Valley. Each laptop was decorated by community members. In 2012 we wanted to bring back the orchard and honor our past with a water tower...a few water towers are still seen today scattered throughout the area. This time the community decorated each tree in the orchard. The tank of the water tower was painted with a replica of an original crate label which had the name of our piece: Valley of Heart's Delight. Most of the original crew returned joined by a few new people to form a strong team. Using predominately photographs allowed many people to contribute and compress time/space.
