"Through digital technology, we are redefining what it means to make personal connections, to communicate with each other and with the world around us. We are all like Alice, tumbling down a digital rabbit hole, lost in a virtual wonderland of social media, telepresence, and internet overload. We are addicts, and our devices provide our fix. We cling to them - we worship our screens - the cursor dictates a new sense of time. Our reality has become a spacio-temporal visceral/virtual hybrid. Are we expanding our sense of identity or losing it? Are we losing our humanity or simply redefining it? Is this really what we want? Have any of us stopped what we're doing long enough to think about it?" -Chad Michael Hall
