Rachel Parent is a 13-year-old activist who believes we have the right to know what we are eating. In 2012, she founded the Kids Right to Know Walk to pressure our government to label genetically modified foods (GMOs). Kitchen Vignettes recently visited Rachel to find out more about what Rachel had to say and bake a delicious GMO-free honey-lemon polenta cake. Find the recipe at kitchenvignettes/blogspot.com. Join Rachel on her upcoming Kids Right To Know Walk in Toronto on June 1st, 2013. To find out more, visit gmo-news.com

On April 9th, 2013, join rallies across Canada to stop the introduction of GMO alfalfa. Get the details at cban.ca/April9
