This is the first test shoot with my brand new Blackmagic Cinema Camera! Because the weather is quite shitty here in Vienna I decided to go underground and film in the subway.
Filmed in 2.5K RAW and edited with After Effects and Premiere Pro. No denoising or sharpening was applied. I just wanted to have a natural look and didn´t do much grading. Working with RAW files for the first time surely was a pain in the bum but once you figure it out it´s incredible what you can do with those Cinema DNGs!
The image of this camera has a huge dynamic range and is very sharp with a nice organic look. Moiré seems to be quite a problem caused by the missing of an OLPF as you can see in some shots. The BMCC allows you to work pretty quickly due to the intuitive and simple interface. I love filming with this camera and can´t wait for the next shoot :)
