When I was 17 I got my first car, a 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. It was Midnight blue with a white top. I couldn't put it on the road right away; so for the longest time, I just kept walking around it, touching it, sitting in it and saying, "No way!" I think you could call it disbelieving for joy.
The disciples were experiencing the same kind of emotions and even more so. They had seen Jesus die and be buried. Now some of them were saying they had seen him alive! No Way!
How easy it is for us to say," Well, If I had been there, I would have acted differently!" I think it is even easier to ignore our participation in the Resurrection. If Jesus is alive the implication are enormous. Hopefully, we are beginning to understand that.
