In Near earth, I tried to investigate the possibility of transforming a sculpture into an authentic environment, thanks to an action that is been developed with the removal of its own visibility. I presented a structure built of metal, an exact parallelepiped in lead with a length of four meters, and I entered into it, with an other performer, without letting the public know of our presence. We're pierceing the structure from the inside by way of the use of a drill in order to create, with the making of holes, a type of “peep show” in which the gaze of the public could peek into the proceeding action. Once it was completely perforated, I was activating a smoke machine, the smoke from which, coming off of the sculpture, entirely hid the structure and the environment in which it was situated.
