EN
Usdum finds its inspiration in the évocation of the city of Sodom and its salt mines as described by Michel Tournier (in his book "Gaspard, Melchior et Balthazar") and the sady real gold mine of Serra Pelada in Brazil, where 40,000 men lived and worked for years and where women were absent.
Carried by Indigenous songs and the music by Bach, Usdum is a duet of a beauty that trascends time, where the dancers go through gestures of the miners of Serra Pelada, repeated until harassment, then find their child's soul in order to play together, happy and in love.
Nearly naive aestethically and breathtaking emotionally, Usdum successfully manages to be both a social critique and a love song.

FR
