(Actor, Role: Evie)
Andrea Frankle is an LSU alum, like many others from the King of Herrings cast. Graduated with her MFA and was taught by John Dennis, the same acting teacher as Eddie, Joe, Wayne, David and John Mese. On the West Coast, she shared an acting class with these guys as well as the great Laura Lamson and many other greats who continue the class to this day. She also worked with Center Theatre Group in L.A. in a world premiere play, In the Wake, which opened at the Kirk Douglas in Culver City and went on to Berkeley Rep. Played Blanche Dubois in A Streetcar Named Desire in Portland, Oregon, as well as in award-winning Tracy Lett’s world premiere production of Three Sisters at the same company, Artists Repertory Theatre. Not to miss: Andrea as the ever-so-Texanne Kayla Rash in upcoming The Hot Flashes, where she co-stars with Brooke Shields, and next year’s The Host, starring Saoirse Ronan. And for fun, catch Andrea as Cinnamon in the new film version of 21 Jump Street. Now splitting time between New Orleans and Montreal, QC, where she works in film and television and teaches acting.
