Inspired by the last stanza of the poem Negligent Worldicide by Chase Twichell, our film is an obituary to the life once sustained by the Kodak Building 9 in Toronto. In a study of life and death the film profiles the derelict building focusing on the sublime attributes, ending with a nod to renewal and the future. What happens to a building when it is no longer inhabited by people? Does it die? Can it be saved?.
Music by Tom Waits. By Stanley Wong and Jessica Misak. Special nod of thanks to Samuel Bernier-Cormier.
