We question the representations of energy in our different devices that guide people’s everyday habits and life pace. Through a mobile application that we built we had the possibility to follow users’ movements and charging habits. We see what kind of impact the energy level representation have in people’s every day life. We examine alternative expressions and shapes for energy movements. The models that grow out of our work, reveal how much impact this seemingly unimportant representation has in our lives. As a result of this learning we build alternative future concepts and shapes for illustrating battery life from a broader perspective.
