Evergreen Students for Sustainable Animal Agriculture learn to raise animals responsibly by tending a flock of ewes and their lambs. Each year in the spring, they bring in a professional to shear the ewes' winter fleece. In April 2013, shearer Gerry Larson came to do some shearing, and also walked the students through doing it themselves.
