"Running from the Cops" by Phantogram
Panasonic GH3 with Lumix 12-35mm f2.8 OIS lens, shot at 800-1600 ISO with -5 settings for contrast, saturation, noise reduction, and sharpness. Graded in ProRes 422 with Magic Bullet filtering.
Remains relatively sharp with H264 output from FCP, but is, of course, better overal quality when viewed in ProRes. At 800 ISO, the camera doesn't have much information to play around with, but the image quality and noise structure are quiet pleasing to my eye. It will have a better grading ability at 400 ISO, but the color space will always be 8bit 4:2:0 so its always limited.
This is footage from a music video, that was originally a camera test for a short film. The selected clips are much longer than intended so please don't comment on actor's performances.
