3rd Armored WWII veteran LTC Olin Brewster (Ret.) of Texas is introduced as the main speaker at the dedication of "Lafayette G. Pool" Hall on July 1, 1993, at Ft. Knox, KY. The introduction is by Col. Henry E. Hodge, Commander of the 1st Armor Training Brigade, Ft. Knox. The newly constructed Pool Hall was then the national center for computer-simulation training for the Army's M1 Abrams tank series. Col. Brewster served with Sgt. Pool, the legendary tank ace, in Spearhead's 32nd Armor Regiment in WWII and continued that friendship until Pool died in 1991. For Brewster's speech, in which he talked of Pool's accomplishments, see the separate video "Pool Hall Dedication Ceremony." This video was provided by Brewster's son, Col.
