This is a short poetic documentary which I worked on as part of my final year project entitled HEAR ME! - an initiative started in which the affected groups would come forward, share their stories and let their voices be heard. Serving as one of the deliverables, 'Absence' takes a look at stories of individuals who faced adversities and challenges in their personal lives. This is the second part of the series of video and it explores the life of a young woman* who requires the aid of a wheelchair to perform her daily routines due to her illness, 'Osteogenesis Imperfecta' (a brittle bone condition). She opens up about her yearnings and the struggles she faced.
