Alexander Andriyashkin (TSEKH Dance, Moscow), Tatiana Luzai (Derevo Physical Theater, Saint Petersburg), Kseniya Petrenko (LIQUID Theater, Chelyabinsk), and Aleksei Zherebtsov (LIQUID Theater, Chelyabinsk) present their interdisciplinary performance at Storefront for Art and Architecture. Drawing in part upon the imagery and symbolism of Malevich's paintings of peasants, and combining elements of dance, street theater, and improvisation, the performers keep the audience on its toes with constant surprises.
The performers were visiting the US on a residency co-hosted by CEC ArtsLink and Jacob’s Pillow Dance, as part of the Open World Cultural Leaders Program.
