I've coded 4K(4480x1920) RAW realtime playback system running on Linux, enabling interactive ACES RRT(+sRGB ODT) color transform utilizing GPU power(i.e, OpenGL GLSL).
4K Red footage is first converted to uncompressed RAW data in offline, then these RAW data is read from the disk and feed to OpenGL texture memory directly within 10 ms.
Theoretically, my system can handle 8K in realtime if I have 3GB+ read speed from the disk ;-)
