Welcome to St. Mark's Lutheran Church!

In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we welcome you to St. Mark's. We especially welcome our guests who have joined us today. We pray that your soul will be strengthened by the good news about God's grace, love, and forgiveness to us through his Son, Jesus Christ.

Our congregation also operates a Lutheran school for students in pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. If you would like to learn more about our church or school, please contact one of our pastors, the principal, or another representative of our church or school. They would be happy to assist you.

Season of the Church Year
Our celebration of Jesus' resurrection from the dead extends through the seven week-long Easter season. The earlier weeks of the Easter season focus on Jesus' resurrection appearances. The later weeks of the Easter season focus on the comforting spiritual truths that results from Jesus' resurrection. Near the end of the Easter season, we also celebrate our Lord's Ascension into heaver forty days after his resurrection.

Focus of Today's Service:
The bible states quite clearly that if Christ has not been raised, our faith in him is pointless. Conversely, since Christ has been raised, our faith is built on the sure and solid facts of his resurrection and our faith finds a sure and solid foundation from our eternal future. This third Sunday of Easter season underscores the reality of Jesus' resurrection and the confidence we can have because of Jesus' resurrection.
